CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

Student Success Statement

“Real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are.”

Sterling W. Sill

I agree with Still because we do have what we need a roof on top of our heads, a family, food, clothing, ect. But our life is what we have and the only thing we have. Money we can always replace but our lives we can’t so… Money or Life what would you choose?

Acupuncture

Go Online. Look for and provide the following information. Publish your information as a new post in your Electronic Portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities: Acupuncture professionals are trained to treat the entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into account a patient's physical, mental and emotional condition in order to determine the proper course of treatment. In addition to providing acupuncture therapy, practitioners help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their everyday lives.

Salary: $60-120 per treatment, $45,000- $100,000, $200,000-300,000

Education: Most licensed acupuncturists hold master's degrees or post-baccalaureate certificates from schools accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. As the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine explains, most programs require 1,500-2,000 hours of acupuncture training and take 3-4 years to complete. Graduates must pass the certification exam offered by NCCAOM and fulfill any additional state licensing requirements.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

In my opinion I wouldn’t like to be an acupuncturist because I’m afraid of needles and if I handle one I’m going to freak out! Even though they get a good amount of money I wouldn’t like to be one anyways. So I’m saying no I prefer to be a doctor. J

CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!

Student Success Statement

You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”

Ezra T. Benson

I agree with Ezra T. Benson because it is true, when you do something wrong you think you did right or you feel right. Then a few minutes later you start feeling this pain that you can’t describe because you know you did the wrong thing but you still keep the wrong a secret. Lets say an hour pass you are now feeling more pain and guiltiness so…you still keep the wrong a secret. Now it’s the next day you feel worse than before but now you say I’m ready to get a forgiveness but it might be to late for you because you didn’t say what you did before. So you cannot do the wrong and feel right…right?

Acupressure

Online Research:

Go Online. Look for and provide the following information. Publish your information as a new post in your Electronic Portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities: It is believed that acupressure can cure a number of ailments. Because of this, Acupressure Therapists see a wide range of clients. Some of them might have physical pain like arthritis, backache, or muscle stiffness, while others might be suffering from nausea, depression, or stress. As an Acupressure Therapist, you can tap, pinch, clap, drum, or knock (and even use your feet) on your client. What you do and for how long depends on the severity and location of the pain. Most client sessions last between 15 minutes and an hour, and you decide how often to see the patient based on their symptoms

Salary: $38,000 – $137,000

Education: In states that require licensure for massage therapists, aspiring acupressure technicians must undergo formal training. Programs that offer acupressure training may integrate other methods of Chinese healing into their curricula. Topics of study may include anatomy, business, ethics, reflexology, aromatherapy and acupressure bodywork. Students also are likely to participate in supervised clinical practicums

Refection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why?Why not?

I don’t think I would like to be a acupressure because I really don’t like touching others. I’m saying that I feel like instead of helping massaging them I’m going to hurt them.  In my opinion I wouldn’t I prefer staying to my dream job. J

“Education is the latchkey to success in life.”

Gordon B. Hinckley

I agree with Mr. Hinckley because without education the world would have chaos, but with education you can open many things in life. You can win more money, find a job that you like than being forced to work in a job you don’t like, go to college and get a better advantage.Education can open many thing if you want to be educated but if you don’t it will be very difficult for you.

I wouldn’t like to be one because I use glasses and I prefer that someone else checks my eyes than I working for them. You need to see what things they need and see their eye and I’m scared of just touching my eye…so no. L
