“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”

~Wilford Woodruff

I agree with this amazing quote by Wilford Woodruff because it is true nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong. Even if you think you are your really not like cheating you can go on for a long time and not get caught but that one day you get caught they figure out you were cheating all this time everything you didn’t deserve dies and never existed. SO everything you gained by wrong is nothing!

“Nicest Man in the World”

Patrick Morgan

Florida

Today in class we watched a video on Patrick Morgan also known as The Nicest Man in the World. Patrick worked at an airport and one day he found an iPad with $13,000 stuffed inside the iPad case. He did the right thing to return it so he turned it in to the authorities. When the owner found out they found it, he rewarded Patrick with just $60 dollars. Instead of Patrick wasting the money on himself he gave it to a homeless women and co-worker in need. People heard of this and they rewarded him with $625 dollars for choosing the right!

“The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem.”

~Dr. Laura Schlessinger

I agree with this marvelous quote by Dr. Laura because it is true, the reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity (self-worth), integrity, and self-esteem. Not only does it help yourself but it also helps the people around you to think differently of you in a positive way. It’s just like you choose the right it reflects on you in a good way and in that way people around you will like to be around you. More opportunities for you, more respect, more frequently called for help because they see you as the right.

Forgiveness

Today in class we watched a short video on Eric Smallridge, a prisoner who killed two young girls named Megan and Lisa. Eric was charged and sentenced to prison for 22 years. Megan’s Mother named Renee was happy that he went to prison for a long time, well that’s what she thought until one day. That day Eric was told that his sentenced in years was cut to half because Renee forgave him. Renee forgave him because she knew that anger towards him would not solve anything and she won’t be able to feel free again. Renee is now happy and relief as well as for Eric, they both now go to public school to give a lesson and to teach them what is right and what not to do.

“When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive.”

~Alan Paton

I agree with this marvelous quote by Alan Paton because it is true, when a deep injury is done to us, we never recover until we forgive. For example you and a friend had a fight because they lied to you about something really important. Days pass by and you haven’t seen them and 2 weeks later you don’t see them and etc. Until one day you see that person and they tell you that they are sorry, they did it to protect you even though you got hurt either way. You tell them it ok but it will take you a while to forgive them and they are okay with that but you won’t be able to recover for a while until you can trust them. So when a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive.
