Student Success Statement
“Character is higher than intellect.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
I strongly agree with Ralph Waldo Ermerson’s quote because it is true character is higher than intellect. If you have good character and your doing what’s right for you and your future then your character will be higher than intellect and people will notice that and see that your doing everything you can to help yourself out positively. Your character will win your intellect and be higher if you have amazing character.

I would not like to be one because I’m not interest in the reading or research area of the medical fields but I probably would need help by a medical librarian since I want to be a children’s doctor in the medical field.

“I trust that my hard work will pay off”

~Tyler Haws

I love this quote by Tyler Haws because it is true he trusted his hard work and it paid off. He decided to be a missionary for his church instead of being a basketball player. An example of this would be high school, if you do your very best and you have really good grades and participate in curricular activities. The day you start to apply for a college or university letter will be flying into your mail box and many opportunities because you worked hard for it and earned it yourself and it will be paid back to you sooner than you think!
Anime/Manga
Today we are to choose a topic of interest and hobby of one, my hobby and interest is anime and manga.
According to google anime is: a style of Japanese film and television animation, typically aimed at adults as well as children.
My definition of anime: something you love and it’s a part of you, you need it in your life, something where you can share many emotions, it is your family/your world!
The earliest commercial Japanese animation dates to 1917 in American anime was introduced around the 1980’s.
According to google manga is: a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels, typically aimed at adults as well as children.
My definition of manga: an art book made into a masterpiece, greater detail, more story in the anime more character, reading manga first then watch anime.
The earliest Japanese manga dates to 1814, in America manga was introduced around 1965.
The creator of anime and manga was Osamu Tezuka.
Back in Japan, after World War II, a young aspiring artist named Osamu Tezuka became a cartoonist and released his first work Shintakarajima (known in English as "New Treasure Island").  As a child, Tezuka was a fanatical fan of Walt Disney's early animations.  Many were impressed by Tezuka's original style.  However, it was not until Tezuka released his ultimate work Tetsuwan Atomu (Astro Boy) that he achieved success; he was pronounced "the Father of Manga and Anime".
Anime’s I recommend:
Fairy Tail
Sword Art Online
Attack on Titans
