Veterans Day

Every year on November 11, Veterans Day is celebrated, to celebrate to honor the men and women of the United States armed forces. Veterans Day was originally called Armistice Day, on one of the Armistice Day unknown soldiers were being honored as well as still today we still do. At 11am on every Veterans Day colored guards do a ceremony to honor all 5 military units. In 1984, Armistice Day was change to Veterans Day to honor all American veterans! The U.S. Census Bureau estimates 21 million Veterans in the United States. Don’t forget to say thank you to a Veterans women or men!!! J
