The Scorpion Sting

Patrick, a man who told his story when he was a young boy, the story started when he was a small little boy and he and his parents went to the desert. His parents would always tell him to put his shoes on to protect his feet from stings, thorns, and the heat, until one day he didn’t. He wanted to take a little stroll around the desert and he started to wonder if he wanted to put his shoes on but he said it wouldn’t affect him since it was a small walk. He decided to put sandals since he thought it was the same thing as shoe what could go wrong. He started his stroll until he felt a painful sting and it was a scorpion. He describe the pain as if was death coming. He screamed and his parents came and took him to the hospital which was 2 hours away from the desert but they had to do something so they went off. They got to the hospital and the doctor gave him a vaccination to kill the pain. After all that happened he finally understood what his parent’s ment that sandals are not shoes by the hard way, the scorpion sting.
