Duties and Responsibilities: What a health information specialist does is to maintain records of patients in hospitals and clinics. Their duty is to maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and their medical records such as when was their last check up and why did they need to see the doctor.

Reflection: Do you think you would like to be one? Why? Why not?

I don’t think I would like to be one because when it comes to files I get lost, especially because this job requires so many patients names that you have to look for and I probably get lost just looking for one specific name.
