“Presidents Day”

  1. What is Presidents Day?
    Presidents’ Day is the day the United States honors presidents of the United States which means it is a holiday celebrated in the United States. This day is to mainly honor George Washington, the first president of the United States
  2. What is the purpose of Presidents Day?
    The purpose is to give honor to every president in the United States, especially President George Washington.
  3. When is it?
    Presidents Day is always held on the third Monday of February.
  4. What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Presidents Day?
    One of the ways we honor and respect this day is by having a day off of work, no school, we also have ceremonies in Washington.
  5.  Something interesting I found was that the United States have a little bit of more honor on President Washington and President Lincoln because they did so much for the United States.
